Season Over
The Chicago Rush had their season ended at home Sunday by the Grand Rapids Rampage, 58-41. No matter how hard the Rush worked or how many injuries they had, the Rush lost because the Grand Rapids Rampage wanted this game on this day more.
A second quarter touchdown by Rampage receiver Kenny Higgins just about said it all. Quarterback James MacPherson [read more...]
Rush Finally Clinch Top Seed
Despite injuries, questionable focus and even problems finding a kicker, the Chicago Rush clinched the one seed in the American Conference for the first time in their eightyear history after defeating the Dallas Desperados 75-63.
With the victory, the Rush insure that the road to the Arena Bowl comes through Allstate Arena as long as the team advances. Their first game, [read more...]
Rush Continue To Struggle
The Chicago Rush continued to falter with yet another loss, this time to the Georgia Force 50-47. It forces the Rush to try and clinch homefield advantage for the third straight week in the season finale at home against Dallas this Sunday.
The Georgia Force, despite a poor start to the season, managed to clinch the Southern Division and the two [read more...]
Rush Falter
The Chicago Rush continued their pattern of falling behind early in the game. This time, there was no coming back as the Rush suffered its worst loss of the season to the Cleveland Gladiators, 65-44.
With just two games left in the regular season, the Rush still do not have homefield advantage in the American Conference wrapped up. The San Jose [read more...]
Rush Find a Way to Win, Again
It wasn't always pretty, and it was surely a question of whether they'd even pull this game off, but the Chicago Rush once again found a way to win a game they had no business winning. A 52-47 victory over the Kansas City Brigade puts the Rush within one victory or one San Jose Sabercats loss of homefield advantage throughout [read more...]
In Complete Control
The Chicago Rush took complete control of the division and perhaps the conference with yet another dominating victory over a team that had once been their tormenters. With the Rush's 65-52 over the Colorado Crush, they may have taken the next step toward their goal of one not being enough.
Russ Michna played another tremendous game. He threw for 6 touchdown [read more...]
An All Around Black Eye
The best thing that can be said about the Chicago Rush and Kansas City Brigade game as far as Rush fans are concerned is that the Rush won. Much like the mafia, don't ask how it was done. Just know the final score was 49-42 Rush and quickly move on. If it wasn't for a professional obligation, I would call it [read more...]
Rush Fall to Orlando
Five turnovers should equal victory. For the Chicago Rush, this wasn't the case last week as they suffered their second loss of the season to the Orlando Predators 56-55 in overtime. Despite how bad the offense looked, the officiating should be called into question. Throughout the game, players were getting very chippy with each other and no flags were thrown to [read more...]
Rush Defense Rattles Arizona
Before the 2008 season, the Arizona Rattlers guaranteed a playoff berth to season ticket holders. After watching the Rush demolish them 59-35, they may want to watch what they say before showing any more bravado. Defensive end John Moyer may have put it best. "Coach Ho feels it's a slap in face and a disgrace to the league," Moyer said. Coach Mike Hohensee [read more...]
Rush Continue To Roll
After a little history, a poor defensive half, two blocked kicks, and the discovering of a new star receiver, the Chicago Rush improved their record to 3-1 with a 70-35 victory over the Colorado Crush. It all starts with receiver Damian Harrell, who usurped Eddie Brown's all-time touchdown record, with his 904th touchdown catch. "It still hasn't registered," Harrell said, "I'm not [read more...]

Poker sites for US players are somewhat hard to come by these days. Aside from the big ones, PokerStars and Full Tilt, mainly smaller, fairly unknown sites are available to Americans. It s a good idea to read a poker room review before you sign up with a site you don t know very much about.
